day 13. my lucky number. *fair warning — this page takes a bit to load because of all the photos and videos — just chill and read this and every thing should finish loading*. this was also one of my favorite days of exploring. i woke up early in Aberdeen, assessed my surroundings, checked out the damage i had done while jousting for the first time, ate my vitamins and headed out on the Scottish NE coast.
i didnt really have any destination in mind other than go north. while travling north, i found Slaine castle. i saw the castle from a distance while driving through farmland on the highway. i found the trailhead and pulled off and parked the rally van. it was about a mile walk from where i parked to Slaine castle.
