day 15. woke up in the morning at the hostel and had my morning fag while taking on the brisk morning chill. the hostel is connected to a resturant called Belushi’s. Belushi’s is a pretty sweet sports bar that claims to play every live event in Scotland, and even plays American football. the brekfest consist of buffet style — i opted for a roll with ham, cheese, cucumber, tomato and a splash of cock sauce (sriracha) — followed up with some hard boiled eggs and oranges in all forms and an americano.
as i started out on my walk, my feet were just slipping and sliding in my boots with dirty, stinky socks. i dedcided if i was gonan walk all day, i better get more comfortable socks than the standard Hanes socks i normally wear. i found an outdoors shop, Mountain Warehouse, that was right up the hill from my hostel, and splurged on 3 sets of socks — hike shredy.
